Eragon (Inheritance Cycle Series #1)

Eragon - Christopher Paolini i struggled while reading this book and i couldn't even bring myself to finish it. in a way, i'd almost compare it to torture. but maybe that's exagerrating. the thing is- it was so badly written that i couldn't even concentrate on the plot. And another thing- i keep forgetting this book, then, once i see it i shiver. and not in a good way. that is all in my very own reaction to the book, of course. DIFFERENT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT TASTES IN BOOKS. i wouldn't want someone to give up reading it just because i said that IMO it is badly written. i also would like to point out that there are quite a few people who like this book. one of them being a good friend of mine whose opinion i appreciate dearly. she would say that the idea is okay. and that it's a nice book andthere are DRAGONS (which is something i. love as well, dragons, i mean). what i'm trying to say is- BY ALL MEANS DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK BEFORE YOU ARE SURE YOU LIKE THE WRITING AND THE PLOT. or, in other words- order it from the library first. but that, in a way, is an advice that applies to every book you want to read. especially when you do not know your reading taste well.
