Memoirs of a Geisha (Random House Large Print)

Memoirs of a Geisha (Random House Large Print) - Arthur Golden it is a wonderful book that introduces the reader to Geisha's life and to Japan. Sayuri was annoying at times, likable at others, the fact that she met her lover when she was just a child and the age difference was a bit disturbing. i read it when i was young, i now know i's not perfect, but back then it fooled me as i thought Sayuri was real, creating such a feeling in a reader shows great talent (and naivety on my side, of course). but you see why i'm fond of this book in a nostalgic way, the way you are fond of a toy you used to play with when you were little?
